The Bob Beck Klemens Zapper can be operated by 3 x B size batteries which is not supplied on purchase. With regular use, the batteries need replacing every month. The Zapper draws considerable power and purchasing the optional Zapper Power Pack replaces the need for regular purchasing of batteries. It is more economical in the long run to purchase the power pack. The zapper needs no adjustment in order to switch to using the power pack, however for safety reasons, the batteries MUST BE REMOVED PRIOR to connecting the power pack. Power Pack only
